President Barack Obama said he supports same-sex marriage.  “At a certain point I’ve just concluded that, for me personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married”, Obama said in an exclusive interview with ABC News Robin Roberts.

Pastor Mark Boykin of Church of All Nations in Boca Raton said this move was politically motivated.  “He does not or did not have a position on this issue until this week?”, Boykin said.  “I just find this to be disingenuous from our president.”

At a certain point, I’ve just concluded that, for me personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married,” Obama said in an exclusive interview with ABC News’ Robin Roberts. Pastor Mark Boykin of Church of all Nations in Boca Raton said this move was politically motivated. “He does not or did not have a position on this issue until this week?” Boykin said. “I just find that to be disingenuous from our president.”
Julie Seaver of Compass, a local gay and lesbian rights support organization, said she agrees that the president faced political pressure.

“Of course it’s a political move,” Seaver said. “But, in all actuality, it was made a political move by the opposition who have put these discriminative initiatives on the ballot in the first place.”
Seaver said this announcement was a pleasant surprise, one she and her organization have been waiting for.
“I do think that it is very generational,” Seaver said. “There’s many seniors in the community that have been waiting to hear this historical statement for a very long time. In the end, I think that it gives young Americans hope.”Boykin said voters have said how they really feel, time and time again.
“Certainly, it has been proven over and over again at the ballot box that most Americans don’t agree with him there, that it’s not just a generational thing,” Boykin said.

Church of all Nations held two services to gather together in a spirit of unity and prayer for the United States of America. Never before in the history of this great country has there been such a need and time for prayer as today. Without marginalizing or exaggerating the good and bad of our country, it is still the responsibility of every Christian who calls the United States home, to lift the needs of this great nation up to God.

Church of all Nations Pastor James McClain did an outstanding job of giving the historical Christian perspective to those in attendance. Pastor McClain, who serves as an elder at Church of all Nations and also teaches at the Fire Institute School of Ministry, brought a deep respect and love for, “the greatest country in the history of the world”.   Keeping a Christian perspective while still allowing himself the opportunity to tell of his life in the United States, Pastor McClain brought great balance to the day’s activities. It was this type of humility and integrity, in addition to the tightly focused message, that led those in attendance to a deeper understanding of what a truly awesome country this is and made the National Day of Prayer so inspiring, informative and successful.

In addition to Pastor McClain, the entire pastoral staff of Church of all Nations participated in the National Day of Prayer. Praying in segments for everything from the President of the United States to our public schools, every need for our country was addressed and prayed for. We thank God for the National Day of Prayer and the privilege to gather freely in His house and express the freedoms and liberties that truly does make this, “the greatest country in the history of the world!

Easter Sunday was a magnificent day, a full sanctuary, beautifully adorned brothers and sisters, anointed music and great preaching. But the greatest thing of all was the 50 plus individuals who decided now was the time to accept Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins and the opportunity for a new beginning through His grace and love. There were tremendous moments of worship and the message prepared by Senior Pastor Mark D. Boykin was nothing short of spectacular. But Sunday’s superstar was the Holy Spirit and His sovereign move that made this day so spectacular.

The greatest miracle of all continues to be when a sinner comes to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and publicly confesses Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives. With the advent of “Answer the Call” it was encouraging to see the transformed lives and pure joy of a changed heart. “Answer the Call” seeks to be the conduit for changes such as the ones witnessed Sunday throughout the world. With a million souls a year in sight, “Answer the Call” is poised to position itself as a major player in the kingdom of God for the next decade and beyond.

The Central American country of Costa Rica was blessed as Church of all Nations resident evangelist and Central and South American representative Rev. Jorge Lopez  ministered the word of God to this beautiful country and its wonderful citizens. The trip began in the city of Rio Jimenez. The Holy Spirit brought 65 salvations forward while many others were filled with the Holy Spirit. Numerous praise reports of healing were given following the service.

While ministering in Iglesia Ciudad de Bendicion (City of Blessings Church) in the city of Heredia, the congregation was blessed during both Sunday services as the Lord’s spirit moved, saving and filling people throughout the service. On Sunday afternoon Rev. Jorge Lopez spoke at the Youth Crusade in the City of Santa Barbara. More than 1,600 young peoples’ lives were touched through the power of God.

The evangelistic team of Rev. Lopez and special guest, “Mike Caraballo’s Praise and Worship Group” were able to combine their resources for a great time in the Lord! Mike Caraballo’s Praise and Worship Group is currently a member of CMI and have pledged their support for South America and the Answer the Call vision.
